"AKADI" translates to "tasty" in Bambara, a native language of Cote D'Ivoire. This name embodies our commitment to crafting delicious, homemade, wholesome food. Established in 2017, AKADI fills a gap in Portland's diverse food scene, celebrating the unique flavors of West African cuisine, including Ivory Coast, Senegal, Ghana, Mali, Burkina Faso, and more.
